How did everyone find French this morning?
I thought it was ok, apart from a few problems:

Is the skiing season in the winter???!!
Could the camera see the dog everywhere in the house?

The English-French translations at the end were fine, but the French-English one had some dodgy moments. Did everyone have a clause which read something like "even considering police investigations"?

yeah, i said it was winter but wasn't sure, thought i'd used A too frequently so therefore put B for winter lol. I said true for seein dog everywhere, although wasnt sure.

i was more concerned with the conduit plusieurs specialiste.

overall quite a nice paper though

yeah, i thought it was quite a good paper! Although did anybody else find the first listening exercise a bit tricky, which is stupid coz there supposed to be the easy marks lol! Though i was quite suprised i found the longer listening fine, usually i struggle on that!

I put winter, however i put that the camera couldnt see the dog everywhere, cant remember why (must have had a legitimate reason at the time lol). Thought the big translation was good, and the English-French entances were alright aswell although i know i messed up on two of them.

Yeh i concur Mr Bean overall quite a nice paper!

I said winter and true to the dog thing, but wasn't very happy with either of them. Translation was ok, the 'conduit plusieurs specialistes' I said meant 'caused many experts'. Does anyone else find themselves with loads of time at the end? I was doing it quite slowly and carefully, but still had forty-five minutes left when I'd finished.

It wasn't too bad I guess, but surprisingly (well, suprisingly for me anyway), I found the reading more difficult than the listening. Usually I find it quite difficult to understand the spoken French on the tape but I thought it was much clearer than normal today. I think I messed up my translations though. (but I knew I was going to anyway!)

I put that the ski season is in winter and i cant remeber about the dog and the camera. I think i put true! Im not really sure. I found the listening fine but i always struggle on the english to french translation. The fact is if you couldnt think how to translate it word for word in reality would you not just reword it so you could. I find that part of the exam very fake!
