Looking at the CGP revision guide and spec on the website, we haven't learnt any of the stuff we're supposed to know - all we've done is hard/soft water! That's it! I can't even try and learn it myself because I'm still unsure what exactly we're supposed to know

I hope electrolyis doesn't come up - in our electrolysis end of topic test I think everyone in my class got below a B or something...

At least its only (?) worth 25% -ish.

Could somebody post the specification for the extension paper please, i don't have a clue what is going to be on it..

Edit - Nvm, i found it.

    Extension Option A:
    1. Water
    2. Acids, bases and salts
    3. Metals and redox reactions
    4. Carbon chemistry
    5. Quantitative chemistry
    6. Electrochemistry and its applications

ours is on something like water, food and drugs and electrolysis.
The food stuff is a nightmare though because you have to learn loads of complicated diagrams for sugars and aspirin and stuff off by heart.

Eek o_0 I'm just thankful we're doing Extension Block A - the other one about food and stuff is like AS Biology!

I'm actually ok at this stuff, its lots of balancing and dealing with equations - which is the area of equations (along with calculations) in which I'm best at. Also, the grade boundaries are generally quite low..I heard it was 57% to get an A one year.
