OCR Physics extension - monday

Hi everyone, I hope you found the core physics alright. Only the extension paper on monday remaining - 50 marks, 45 minutes. (26.3% or something like it)

Can someone outline the topics that will come up, please?

all i know is something about potential dividers and suvat will come up.

There are 3 main blocks on the extension paper
1. Electronics and Control - that's the stuff to do with gates, latches, potential dividers etc.
2. Processing Waves - that's on refractive index, resonance, interference etc.
3. More about forces and energy - that's on Linear and projectile motion, uvast etc.

oh ok. thanks.

it's actually the "etc."s that i'm worried about, heh. can they test you on the basic stuff as well?
I think actually there are 2 extension things your teacher can do (your teacher chooses one) and the one listed above by head boy is one of them (the one im doing). BUT, if you look on the OCR site, there are actually other blocks you can do so if anyone's confused coz they haven't done the topics head boy said, don't worry! Look on the OCR online spec and you'll see what i mean :smile:

Yes, it does depend whether you are doing option "A" or option "B". Check the syllabus at www.ocr.org.uk :smile:
