# I don't understand this question [parametric] watch

find the coordinates where the cuve touches the coordinate axis.
The curve touches the y axis at x=0 so t^2=2 and t=+rt2 as t>=0. Substituting t=rt2 into the expression for y gives y=rt2(rt2+1)=2+rt2 so the curve touches the y axis at (0,2+rt2).

The curve touches the x axis at y=0 so t=0, as t>=0, so x=2 and so it touches the x axis at (2,0).
