Ok, you have the name 2 + 2 = 5 for a joke... Same reason I have the predicted grades... Its a piss rip u moron, lmao u really are dumb for being so blind (metaphorically) Erm, its taking the piss out of people who ******** that they are predicted A*'s in every subject... Undermining the achievements of others, yeah, right ok then, actually I'll be laughing cos I've got mates, and will be able to do Alevels, therefore it'll balance out and I'll have good ALEVELS and a good social life... All u work-a-holics will have no mates and just good grades... Friends > Job at the end of the day. I'm off now, can't spend all my time online, got to live a reality. bye loserss!!! hope u all fail and realise that ur not clever even though u try and portray urselves as being clever by being incredably argumentative and exercise decent verbal reasoning, sounding clever doesn't equal being clever, bye losers, burn.
Who's trying to "sound clever" now?
Oh thanks for reassuring me that I will fail.
Another thing, aren't grades predicted for a reason?

    Man, what is this?

The way you open your envelope isn't gonna affect your marks.

Where I collect, my results is right at the other end of the entrance. Really, it's about a quater mile trek. It will be hard going there and even harder on the way back, should I not succeed.

However, I plan to turn up late in oh-so familiar fashion, walk up to the table(s) where the teachers are and slam my fists on the table and go "All right; wass the damage?"

I'll then open my results with a mate or on my own.

I'll then shake the teachers' hand whatever the outcome is and all that usual [email protected] and then walk back.

Don Corleone! your beginning to scare me...lol....geeez man, i admit i study hard...BECAUSE i want to have a good future...sure, i do have a social life but i dont over over over doooo myself.

wouldn't you want to get an A or an A* by just cutting back on your social life. You have the rest of your life to enjoy, but only one exam to get that grade. Is your social life more important or your exams? you know wot, dont answer that question. I think i already know the answer for that.

Peace all....sleep tight and remember the exam results are near!!!!!!

*sighs* u don't read... I said it don't matter if u get an A* or a C, any one of those of in between gets u into college usually to study a course of ur choice, except B in some cases is required for Maths and some Sciences... Why work so hard and have no life to get an A* when all is needed is B maximum, see what I mean u work harder then u have to cos u want to hence having no social life but a work-related life... Really, I ahve to go, btw predicted grades are false and a piss rip u simpletons.
I apologise Don after you have declared this 'argument' finito. But why is it you think to get good grades you need to work hard? I sure as hell didn't went out got pissed most nites crammed from start of study leave came out with 10 A's got pissed some more. So fck knows why you think many ppl need to work hard to get good grades...

I agree Predicted Grades are pointless at GCSE and are in no way a reflection of what you truly will get but more a device to scare you into action so you work harder to ensure you get the best possible grade...

Which brings me to your point that 'these people' are running down others. I haven't witnessed it on TSR anyway, maybe it does exist. But surely you are running down those who choose to get their best grades...

Don't underestimate your GCSE's if you are planning on going on to further education. Unis don't choose a candidate with great socialising skills and 'lots of mates' they choose those who can concretely they see our academically capable. So by a bit of effort now you can go onto higher education, therefore higher skilled and you can demand higher sums of money and spend more time socialising in later life...whilst many others may have to work longer hours and get paid less...

After all its jst six weeks of cramming maximum whats six weeks in comparison to the rest of your life?

Anyway good luck with the rest of your exams Don

:ditto: Yes sorry if I hurt your feelings. I respect your opinion and that people have different views about certain matters.

I, certainly, think that GCSEs are major, but minor or major, good luck everyone with your results!

Damn, you got me there dude, you caught me mis-spelling a word when one of the main clauses was that I can spell well! Damn man, you just ****ing made me speechless, I've got to go now, man, that ended it all 2 + 2 = 5.

lol seriously...what the **** is your problem?
I'm guessing you've got issues at home, and a strong urge to dropout. Before you pull the whole social life thing, what the hell are you doing on this website at 10:30pm, when your GCSE's are finished? Shouldnt you be out partying?

You know the teachers know before you what your grades are - well at my school they do - so there's no point opening it near them - just try avoid them!!!

I'm gonna open mine really quick scan the sheet to see what i got and put it safely back in the envelope not telling anyone what I got for a while!!!
