Trafford Centre? Arndale? All similar shops to Cheshire Oaks.

I know that doesn't answer your question, just some alternatives.

They're not outlet malls, that's the difference

There's a bus that goes from Liverpool to Cheshire Oaks so you could maybe get the train to Liverpool then bus it to Cheshire Oaks??

Cheshire Oaks isn't that good, personally i prefer to go to the trafford centre.

The prices aren't that much different there.

You can get a train to chester then its like a 30 minute bus journey to cheshire oaks I believe.
If you live in Manchester, why the hell would you want to go to Cheshire Oaks? The Trafford Centre is approximately 100 times better and plus, you've got the Arndale Centre and the Lowry as people have mentioned.
From any one of the train stations (Piccadilly, Victoria, Oxford Road, or Deansgate) catch a train to Liverpool. Get off at Lime Street station, and transfer to a Merseyrail train toward Ellesmere Port. It leaves from the underground platform at Lime Street station. Get off at Ellesmere Port and catch a southbound 111 bus, which will take you to the outlets.

Ok thanks for the inputs. I really consider now just going to Trafford Centre (especially because i've got the Unirider bus ticket)
I'm pretty sure the Trafford Centre doesn't give 60% off all year round?? I've been to Cheshire Oaks when my mate was at LJMU and it was great! Some good bargains especially in the Ralph, Fred Perry, Timberland and Adidas store.

Was wondering what the quickest way to get there was, is it to Lime Street and then to Ellesmere Port, taking 2 and half hours?

Any discount shopping centres in Manchester? Is the Lowry any good for polos and that sort of thing?
there's an outlet mall in salford
