and call back and tell ya or you call them back or they send you a message depends on the situation the problem is that this year is kinda different

i'll be told mine by the head of the sixth form in the heads office. I'll then go and either celebrate or cry with my mates!

I didn't think about results that much now. Sometimes results day just pops up randomly in my head once every few days. :p:

In addition to the exams, it brings back memories of the questions that I didn't do quite well on.

    Don't worry hun been there!
In my P1 exam I got a UMS of 90 - but because the Maths Dpt got the raw scores they actually knew I'd dropped one mark on the entire paper.
I know that's easier in Maths than other subjects, and since I finished P1 literally months before the exam (we had a whole range of abilities in our class so myself and Jon were given a textbook and told teach yourself) but naturally I was totally over the moon about it.
My Dad's response? What happened to the 1 mark?
Your dad should meet my mum...

What's wrong with them?? Cuh! Even when I get full marks my mum says, "Oh I knew you would, it's not that hard anymore"

Lol, my bf's a bit like that. Last year I got 4 As (including 100% for English) and one B, and all he could focus on was the one B! Really took the wind out of my sails!

This thread is making me feel sick with nerves.. I'm going to be a wreck on Aug 18th!! I think I'm going to run into the toilets and shakily open the envelope.. oh god, it really is terrifying to think about!

I'm quite the opposite. I'm really looking forward to the nerves and the anxious chats with friends as results loom. I love it all, which is really weird!

Praying DOES help! Its always got me through!

I think i too am going to have to ask one of mates to tell me if i got into do uni or not. Very unfair on them, i know, but for GSCE's i misunderstood the i thought i'd got 4D's and was shocked, until someone pointed out they were 4 distnctions for GNVQ IT!

The coming of the results this time is worse than all the previous...this time they'l actually count!
