clearing: how low will the unis drop the grades ? watch

    Hi.

    if there is a placse available through clearing, for instance if uni's normal requirement is BBB how lower grades would they accept ???

    do they normally drop ??

    They would usually lower it by one grade. If in points they will lower it from 300 points to 280 for example.

    its usually one grade although it will depend on the depend for the places and how much the uni wants u, ie if demand for the course is low they may well offer you the place anyway. the thing to remember is that the uni wud rather take people who originally applied to the course than people cuming thro clearing since they always had a genuine interest in the uni/course.

    If a person that came through clearing that has CCC, and the person originally apply to that uni has CDD... Would that be a differen story?

    Usually the grade requirements through clearing are the same as the usual grade requirements for everyone else.
