'latest time', where do you classify 'not sleeping'?

I find myself staying up all night working on major papers I've procrastinated on once every few months.

I just grin and bear it. Lack of sleep isn't that bad on an irregular basis.

all night.

I usually stop at around 5am otherwise i wouldn't have the energy to actually walk to uni to hand it in lol

GCSE Maths coursework, long boring amounts of stats. Started 11pm and went to bed 4am ... the two days later, obviously I went to school between.

Reply 6

Wait until you get to uni kids, then all-nighters will become all too common...

This is the fourth one I've had to pull in a month.

Well I've gone two consecutive nights without sleep to do Computing coursework, which for me is a lot as I cannot function properly without sleep.

Of course, I realise this thread is for GCSEs....I can't remember that far back to be honest. Probably 4am?

What he said.

An all nighter is easier to cope with, in my opinion, than sleeping for like 2-3 hours. The latter of the two results in bloodshot eyes, a strong desire to go back to sleep and general grumpyness, whereas the former results in a generally euphoric or ecstatic sense of self lessness (not the opposite of selfish, just the lack of self?) and only a strong 2-3 hour long phase where you really want to sleep, around midday.

All night... a few times. It's not all that bad, if you manage to pass 3-4am (ultimate tiredness), which is no easy feet btw, then you brighten up a bit.

science coursework- until 6am and had school at 8.30...it was horrible i literally fell asleep in science after i handed it in.

english coursework- until 4am...UGH! i had major dark eye bags under my eyes and because i have pale skin- it looks really horribile

P.E coursework- i did this today as i didint know it was in for today so i woke up at 6 and completed in 1 and a half hours  but i was easy...

For GCSEs, I remember three notable ones.
One, ICT coursework project one, databases. Two, my fourth English Literature drama text redraft as I was so sick of it. Three, the worst, art coursework...happened more than once too. Good times, GCSEs. None for AS level yet, but i'm anticipating several.

My record was 6.30pm - 10.30am without any breaks longer than 5 mins. I got about 120 pages done. Handed it in at 11am and got an A for it. :bhangra:

Till 5am :sigh: Not so good times

I pulled all-nighters before all eight of my modular exams last year. No biggie.

There's been plenty of times where I've gone out on the lash and come back at around 4am rather inebriated and yet still feel the need to do work. Ironically enough I got a 96 on one of my assignments that I'd done completely while off my face.

Reply 17

Only like 1.30am. You're all a bit hardcore for me. If it looks like I'm going to have to stay up later than 1, I'll take the day off school and do it then instead...

Reply 18

Once I stayed up until 2am. I can't remember what subject it was for but it was definitely coursework.

Apart from that I usually stop at about 8:30pm or 9pm and then get up early instead. I always work better in the morning.

Once I never went to bed.
