    Ok did anyone just do the 45 mins extension OCR - Spec A Chemistry Paper 4?

    Oh dear... :eek: That was insanely hard! Just didnt get enough time to finish the paper... the calculation questions were impossible and it jus generally was difficult!

    35% if im lucky ^^...

    ok i hope ur joking - easiest exam i have done so far - i only didnt know a couple of titration questions which were worth only 2 marks - i think i got minimum 40/50

    WOT else cud u have found hard? - the tests which were worth 10 marks required learning bout hte iron 2 hydroxide etc

    I found the calculation okay i got 0.20A for the last one anyone got the same?

    Great! so I got the 4 difficult marks! how about the question on Ahmed WHAT PERCIPITATE IS FORMED.

    it was iron 2 hydroxide to get the full marks cos iron 3 hydroxide forms a red brown precipitate - so i dunno if u wud get all the marks

    Ok people - what usually is the grade percentage for OCR chemistry seperate science for a B,A and A*? I mean as an overall including coursework, and the basic and extension paper? It dont say on the OCR site...

    Yes I've looked Mr. I no it all, but thats just split grades and doesnt show the A*

    I put that, some other people put Na+ + OH- => NaOH

    I think they're both right.

    I found some of that pretty hard, but then some of it was pretty basic too!

    the exam board didnt send us enoguh exam papers so we had ot wait outside while they photcopied them and rang the exam board. We had ot wait outside in the hot sun for half an hour.

    I forgot to mention adding the hcl for the proving sulphates and the titraiton quesitons i messed up the values. If there were marks for working i would of got them. Im hoping i did well as it was quite a straight forward exam
