Hi there,
I have finished my first minor coursework and got 27/28 in it. I want to know what percent i would need in the exam, to get an A or A* if i get more than 55% out 60% in my coursework.

well done on your coursework thats an A* for definite, you need to get an B in the exam to ensure that you've got your A

It depends on the course - some coureses award A8 at around 70% others up to 90% and english doesnt award it until about 98% LOL - but that is quite easy to achieve cos it is marked in a different way. - I wouldnt really worry about them though cos if you are getting 55 out of 60 then you are going to be well in the A* bracket.

Yeh, would you know what percentage i would need in the exam though to a) get an A or b) if i do really well, get an A*. (Considering i get more than 55% in my coursework)

i wouldnt worry too much
when i did my gcse IT i only had around 40/60 for my coursework yet still managed an A for my final grade
so you should be easily in the A* bracket as already been stated
