It includes two meals (breakfast and evening) on weekdays, and a breakfast and cold lunch at weekends.
QEQM is miles away. Start saving for your taxi money lol.

Hi

Thanks for your replies so far.

I really do need specifics, i can't get down to have a look (caus i live on the isle of man), hows far is "miles"? in actual miles and what is the transport between the two like?

Many thanks

Transport: well there are normal buses and a uni bus but the timetable seems erratic at the best.
I just had a look on the map in the office and as the crow flies it is approximately 45 minutes walking distance. Adding half an hour for lack of knowing your surroundings when incapacitated lol

its about 40 mins to walk if ur being lazyish i think, only ever walked it once!

Personally I wouldn't want to live at Langstone myself - all the action and convenience lies in the Guildhall campus in the heart of the city, making the extra cost of these halls much better value for money.

the mysterious university bus, it comes n goes when it likes, sightings are rare, tracking it is harder...like a rare wild rhino, crawling around portsmouth.

lol! yes literally, the location is bad, the rooms are utterly small. The best accomodation in Langstone campus imho is Barnard tower for catered. If you want to be self-catered, then go with Trust Hall, their rooms have a great space and a great lounge too, only bad thing is you gotta share the toliet and shower with other people.

I don't see why that's a bad thing having to share toilet and shower. These are the people you are going to be living with for 8 months. Sure, the first week might be awkward but after a month it's cool coz it's so much more social.

I guess there is nothing wrong with sharing toliet's and shower but one thing that gets me ikky is there are some people who may not clean the shower after us or flush the toliet after us so when you go to use the facilities, it's well er not pleasant :frown:

Kirbz... you know barnard tower! that massive big tower thing in the langstone campus?
give 'em a kicking then munky, if you don't then someone will and then the minger will sort his life out and embrace civilisation.
