    Could any one tell me about the occurances of worm, trojan, basic virus and combination attack computer viruses over the past number of years?

    I keep getting an msvxd virus. It must be attached to a file I use every now and again.

    Sounds like you have a worm.

    Do you know how you got it, and does it do anything to your computer?

    I'd first advise you do a virus scan.

    scroll down to virus definitions and the click on "free online virus and security check" It should take about 30 minutes depending on the size of your hard disk, and tell you if your computer is infected.
