Have you tried applying for a job and explaining this to the employer during an interview? How about phoning your local hospital and asking if they have vacancies?

hmm well i was gonna look around tomorrow just the thing is the places near me are crappy (trust me) which means i have to look in town and would have to get a bus there/back which isnt too much trouble i guess as it takes 20 mins.. i'll have a look around anyway and see what shops and stuff are looking for staff..

oh about the hospital thing i dunno what kind of work i'd be able to do..

Well you can do a few things in a hospital. You can be a general clerical assistant, a trainee, a cleaner, etc. If you are really desperate for job why not look at those places that you say are crappy and use it as a stepping stone to get a better job in town?

would do except ive worked at one of those stores when i was 16, had work experience at another and my mum's worked at one other place but the managers are slave drivers! they had her practically working full time but paying peanuts grr anyways there isnt really anything else as i live in a village and even those places are 20-25 mins walk away
how do i go about asking the hospital?

Well you could make up a CV and go in, check the jobcentre, phone them directly, or check the NHS site

Welcome to the real world I am afraid. Most jobs pay peanuts considering the hard work put in.
