Is it just me or does anyone else have a fear of sitting in that 2 and a quarter hour exam tomorrow with nothing to do but twiddle thumbs? It will take me all of 5 minutes to write my 'broad, detailed and in depth' essay..... I must say I can not wait.

I was meaning I'll have so little to write about coz I won't know anyting that I'll just have to sit with a blank page in front of me nto doing anything! I wish it was the other way round and I knew so much I'd get it done quickly and have nothing to do.

The essay in my opinion sorts out the geeks from the gifted. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'd have thought the geeks and the gifted people would both have done well????

This probably won't be of much last minute use to anyone but I was making some brief last minute notes on what I already know but would like to make sure I remember. It's a mix of units 1,2,3 and 8.

I have a feeling they may give us a question on something really limiting like negative feedback...
has anyone done the microscopes question? if a question like that comes out.. I have no idea what I'll do.

Is negative feedback really that limited?
You have heat, temperature, ADH, breathing/heart rate and the menstrual cycle to draw examples i think.

I know exactly what i'll do - do the other question

I'm really worried :afraid: but heres what I'm going to do...
I've revised Module 8 very well and I'm going to TRY and do well on the section A paper. I will try my best. When I open section B I'm going to go straight to the essays, choose one and write a plan (writing it first gives you time to add new ideas). I'll then answer the hard synoptic questions the best I can and add bits to my plan if I get new ideas of what to put into the essay. Lastly, I'll answer the essay using my built up plan.

However, I can't wait until I finish this exam, its my last!

I was very happy with the synoptic paper. The questions were fairly straightforward and seeing the 'negative feedback' essay title really put a smile on my face. Hopefully i've done enough to bank the A in Bio.
