    Hi!

I have been told by a friend that hours spent at the gym are counted as "Action".

Is this true? I am confused because when you're doing sports you aren't really helping the community.

    Thanks...

It is true. Get a person at the gym (co-ordinator, I guess) to sign off your form, and you're set. And community help usually only inovlves Service - the others can be 'selfish' activities, for sure.

It does count, but make sure you ask your IBC, because if he/she doesn't want it to count, it won't count. It all depends on your school policy.

we always gotta fill out 2 double printed pages with questions and refelction.... do you have to do that aswell?
well anyway for " going to a gym" ... how would u answer a question like:
How did this activity benefit others? What might you do differently next time to improve? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?

You know, it doesn't need to benefit others. It can simply be a reflection of your own personal development. And I'm sure you could think something up about changing diet, etc. - for difficulties.
