    i think this paper is easy,but I'm not sure about the last question, how do u work out the final velocity? use the frictional force to work out the accelaration , then use V^2=U^2+2as.
    or use the conservation of energy?

    how could you say it was easy! I added up the marks of all the questions i actually did and it came to 34 out of 75...oops, mght have to retake this one. We werent even taught thrust! Most of the people in my school left out question 6.

    ya, twas quite ***** 4 me as well...... Sniggered when it talked about thrust of the rod...hehe

    i think thrust just same as tension, but opposite in direction!

    Wooohooo! altho i prolly still got it wrong, i resolved vertical forces to get thrust to equal summit like 339N? Altho i didnt involve the reactions at the wall, so i dunno if thats right

    finally, KE and work done by frictional forces

    and then work out the v from the final KE

    does it sound logical ?? :confused:

    i can not remember my answer to the thrust one, but i got velocity=7 for the last question!!

    the thrust is actually 1764N in quest 6 ..
    for question 2 centre of mass it;s 62/22 and k=0.19kg..
    for projectiles it was 18m and 6.75 ms-1..what else?..emmm..7th question was potential enery is 117.6..and F = 10.0N and u=0.39...
