Maybe it depends where you're from? A lot of people here (Canada) drink tea with sugar

Tea tastes awful without sugar, you have to have it!! Unless you're one of these people who are on a diet every other month...

I've never really understood this concept but it seems to me to be a bit of a class thing- workmen and window-cleaners always want sugar in their tea. Why? x

    maybe its an english thing?

I know someone who has six sugars in their tea. Eurgh! Once someone half made him a cuppa so put the sugar in for him but he didn't realise and put his own in too! And yes he did drink it- he scraped out the undissolved stuff at the bottom and ate that too!!!!

I have milk and half a sugar. Used to have 2 but gradually reduced the amount. I don't like it with too much sugar. I have sugar in my tea, because.... SHOCK HORROR!.... I like it that way!
