LA Fitness Gyms?
How much would it cost to join one per month or for 3 months? I've looked on the internet and no price yielding - is there someone a member of an LA Fitness who knows the ballpark figure, or of any gym so I can decide (too busy revising to go and actually get leaflet). Thanks!

DO NOT GO TO LA FITNESS! Unless you want to be screwed over for a whole year. Always read the contract, bunch of dodgy people.

Wait till you start Uni and join there...
LA Fitness is about £37 per month for students where I live.

i took advantage of a "free" day at one as part of a magazines competitions and promotions.
they take you through their place, then sit u down and talk money. in one hour, he was talking in terms of £150 less than he had first talked about as being non-negotiable! Then had to fend off all sorts of guilt trips to get out the place.

I'm going to go down there, make sure that the price they quote is absolutely specific, and if it's not, I'll tell them to f*ck off and leave. Fairly simple.

LA ******** is gay, theyre such fags - once I went there to see what it was like and the huge obese dude was saying like i gotta join within an hour or i have to pay like £150 extra or some ********
if you mostly want it for weights then look for independant local gyms, likely to be cheaper and better equiped

Only go to LA Fitness if you are gay, i'm talking to the guys here, not the girls, especially the ones in Birmingham all gay no joke, guys if you seriously seriously have not one drop of shame about your package, both down there and muscles then go there if you do then dont coz i swear every single perosn just walks around naked, i swear some of them dont even bring towels. the worst experience for me, was see two of my p.e teachers there naked (not with each other tho, although i wouldnt put t past them) i was never bale to look at them in the same way again, knowing how much a teacher packed is something i never really wanted to know.

Lots of gyms try to rip you off with a joining fee. Its pathetic they think they can charge new customers nearly £100, for the priviledge of taking their money!
As a rule of thumb, dont join a gym that give you "free days". They do it to con you into joining them, and therefor, companies like these shouldnt get your money. LA fitness are among the worst gyms.
I would buy a cycling machine/rowing machine, some free weights, and an exercise mat. You will get the same results.

To my knowledge, none of the opinions are actually informed though, as they do not deal with the LA Fitness branch in Barnet.
