no I believe its free. (this was when I was 19 so yeah only a year ago.
I do believe on the back of prescriptopn it does ask to tick a box and there is one for the free contraceptive pill

All contraception should be free. Which is why im amazed Boots get away charging £25 for the MAP.

Nope, not if it's the daily one- there's a box at the bottom of the prescription in the exemptions saying 'contraception pill only'
Jeez... I'm glad! UK is far to expensive with prescriptions- £7 per item?!?! It's only £3.25 over here... And I hace a regular prescription
