    Post all the mistakes you spot here! some people who arnt so confident with chemistry might just learn the mistakes for the exam and lose marks

    1 i just found is page 53 on the transition metal hydroxides

    Fe3+ + 2OH- = Fe(oh)3 ? nope.

    Fe3+ + 3OH- = Fe(oh)3 < yes!

    i tell you.. mike wooster and helen eccles were doing crack when they wrote this book :p:

    Ok heres another.. page 48 the equation for SiCl4 with water is wrong. the correct 1 should have Si(OH)4 as a product instead of Si(OH)2 :/

    also they say gives off white fumes right? well the mark scheme for jan 2003 says dont accept gives off white fumes...

    see what were up against? lol

    There were so many mistakes in that bloody book i threw it in the bin ASAP to prevent me from learning anything incorrect.

    -good like with the revision by the way

    I finished trends!!! In like 7 hours!! :eek:
    I think I might have a world record!

    Now I have to revise Biochemistry
    The first 3 chapters will be ok but I've never read anything about the last 2.. So maybe I should revise backwards? Hmm!
