Your brother sounds like mine, except mine is 16. Stays at home all day playing wow, doesn't have a job, doesn't say much. That wow is dangerous stuff.

Tell him to go on a English teaching vacation to Brasil or Peru.... he has low confidence and has given up on the world. He needs the feel that he has value, and that's it's worth it for him to come outside.Therefore you need to put him where he is valued. In brasil, he will immediately have an extreme value boost. He well have sex with some girls and will feel like life is worth living.. . then he will start effort in improving his life.Seriously, get him out of the west and into Brasil, Thailand.. . Make sex impossible to escape! Reset his confidence levels.I understand him, my brother killed himself. Send him to brasil, peru, ... !

I can relate to this. My brother is the same way, and I worry for him. I know he'd be the best partner for someone ever if he just found someone, but it's like he expects them to crawl out of his computer. That, or he's the most patient person in the world. My dad says he's just very careful about who he's going to date and maybe that's it. As for me, since 15 I'd been a serial monogamist and that didn't really turn out great for me. Maybe he's just trying to make sure he only dates once, (and then gets married and stays with that person for ever and ever). I just really want him to find happiness because, like you, I know he's not asexual, (or gay, although that would be fine with me, as I'm a lesbian), and he's the best person I know. I think people on here are right, though. There's not too terribly much we can do except, when he eventually does get a girlfriend, do everything in our power to make her feel welcome and part of the family. :smile:

Most of you on here are a bunch of self righteous *****. The guy only asked how he can help find a girlfriend for his brother. That last post is the worst, how do you know what a caring sister is, you condescending prick.

To the original poster I hope your brother found happiness. It would be nice to know what happened.
