pill and headaches
i've just started on microgynon and after about 7 days on it i started to get bad continuous headaches. has anyone else had this? not sure whether to see my doctor or whether its one of the things that will pass after a while?!

You are meant to see your doctor and stop taking the pill immediately if you experience migraine headaches for the first time or more frequent unusually severe headaches. Most likely if you didn't normally have headaches all the time before taking microgynon, your doctor will give you a script for a different type of the pill. Do not continue to take the pills hoping it will pass without first seeing a doctor. This information will be on the consumer medicine information leaflet that comes in your box of pills.
