Ka.
First time I heard of someone calling it the K A was on an episode of Cash in the Attic, they were looking at the family's cars and the daughter said she had a "Ford K A". I laughed.

I say K A even though it's not supposed to be said like that. The only person I know who says 'Ka' is my mum.

It's "Ka". That's why there is capital K and a little a. Also Ka does not sound like car, Ka has an a like "bat", not like "bar".

Saying "Ka" like "cat" without the "t" makes it sound too girly.
Saying "Ka" like "car" causes too much confusion.
Saying "K A" is wrong.

Unless you speak like a slovernly tosser, Ka is how it should be pronounced.

I'd punch someone in the throat if they mentioned 'K A' to me.

It's a dumb name because if you say 'Ford Ka' it just sounds like 'Ford car' and no one knows what you mean, and obviously it isn't meant to be pronounced K A otherwise it would be written KA, it's play on the word car but is just a dumb name.

'I've got a Ford Ka', would that not sounds a bit awkward if people said for example, 'I've got a BMW car' instead of just saying 'I've got a BMW'?
