6th Form Ball?

have people already had their 6th form ball?

I'm currently organising ours n i cant wait! its at a really posh hotel we're having photos in the gardens, 3course meal at 8.00 n a wkd D.J n some people r staying over.

Its been really hard to organise tho coz ppl didnt wana cum at 1st and now they are begging to come days before.
Its on the 7th july.

When did u guys have yours? how was it?

Mine is on July 8. We are having a jazz band instead of a DJ. I think a DJ would be better though.

ours is on the 1st july - friday - we r havin it at a hotel, string quartet for the first few hours inc dinner then dj i think, meant to be champagne reception and stuff should be decent,

Ours is on Thursday. It starts at 7.30 and finishes about 1.00am. We are having ours at the grand stand at the racecourse and are having a 3 course meal. It was expensive to pay for though, £35 per person. The thing is on Friday morning we have to be at school at 11.00am for a leavers service and a lot of us are probably going to be hung over.

Mine is next friday! Starting from 7:30 to 12:30. We are having it in a golf club. It's quite good that yours is held in a grand stand at the racecourse. That must be expensive. I'm having a 3 course meal too. The price was £30 per person, a bit cheaper than yours.

Mine is this fri (1st July). Levaers Ball committe trying to make it all posh, with live jazz band and all and 3 course gourmet meal at a swanky hotel. So funny cos its jus gunna end up being a bit piss up.

Haha, I have to wait until the 18th August for mine. It was decided that that was the only day guaranteed to have everyone back, so... It should be good, the girls in charge have hired a boat on the Thames, so have a nice dinner, some dancing, should be fun

we have ours on the 1st July 7-12, it's not just for leavers though, we'll have the lower sixth as well

We have our school leavers BBQ on the 1st and then our ball on the 2nd July, 7-1am (i think), At a 4*hotel, hiring out a room and bar, with a sit down meal. Seems 2 be around average pice of £35 per head include wine, £30 without. It's only for upper sixth, but lower sixth can come as dates, and we've invited leavers from year 11, as some people are still friends with them. We've decided to hire a dj from the lower sixth, as he's quite good.

we have a leavers dinner thing, which im not going to, as its pretty boaring, its like a meal at school with teachers, and then we have the prom on friday (1st which is ganna be fun)

I had mine in May so it was quite early. It was brilliant even tho the venue was pretty crap. It's lovely to dress up nicely, get pissed & have a proper good bye :biggrin:
