Well, I think I'm prepared for this exam tomorrow afternoon.
The composition of this paper is roughly the same each time-
Question 1 is your history of cosmology.
Question 2-4 is usually your HR diags and stuff like that...
I'm just worried about the last question which is usually totally unrelated to anything Cosmology and I'm awful at them - they're evil because they catch you totally off-guard, your brain is full of stars, universe, hubble and things then they chuck in a question about cars or something. Grr!! So, a few of the past papers have questions on the waves topic, which I really hope it is - because I'm good at that! Photoelectric effect would be alright? Anyone else got any ideas?

More often than not, the synoptic question is about power and work and the like.
I hope to bob we don't get a waves question.
Really really stupid having a synoptic question in this unit, since we have an entire other paper devoted to that. Last term, we did the Cosmology paper, and we go roughly B's on the cosmology stuff. But then some twit (I tried a similarly spelt word, but that was censored. I'm sure you can guess what it is) at the exam office decided to throw in a synoptic question about Forces, Fields & Energy, which we hadn't frigging done, so we ended up with D's because we were screwed on the synoptic part. Balls!
