Hair for prom

Ok I need a distraction from my exam stress and advice on what to do with my hair for my end of year ball. Ok well you can't really see very well from that pic (my ball last year) but you can tell more or lessish how long it is, but now I have a kinda fringe. Well I wanted to have it straight but that is so boring so I need some ideas what to do with it, preferablly down as I don't want to spend a fortune at the hair dressers.

Thanks in advance.

I'm having mine kinda curly. Its straight and the same length as yours and ive got a bit of a side fringe. The hairdresser is tonging it so its wavy/curly which I think looks nice. Its kinda gonna be like Marias from Coronation street.

What about something like in this? Look at attachment. I wore that to my cousin's wedding looked ok, looks a bit messy there though.

Wow, your hair's lovely in both your pics!

If your really worried, just show some cleavaage, I don't think anyone will notice. - Not too much, but enough to distract the eye, but still leaving something to be desired. Good luck, have fun at the prom!

thats how I am hoping to have mine done too...My mum keeps trying to persuade me to have my hair up but I hate it up.

My advice is stay simple as you don't want to be worried about it all night. Maybe have it down and slightly curled/wavy

I can't give specific hair advice, cos I'm not a girl, but I would advise anyone looking for fashon tips to get themselves over to London, and go to the Tate Modern. It's a lovely gallery in its own right but look at the people who go there. I'm guessing a lot of them are modern art students and most of them look stunning and yet really creative and individual. Best wishes.

Interesting advice but I don't want to cut my hair off or dye it pink.

You don't have to. You should go there anyway if you haven't been for a while. Its really good, and they change the exibits quite frequently. Its also free!! Cheers!

Hmm methinks to get the kylie look - tong your hair to make gentle curls. Then take portions of the front of your hair pull it back and pin it loosely. If anyone watched This Morning today they will know what i'm talking about. Keep some of the hair down though for the Kylie look.

Cat - GET OFF HERE AND REVISE

i had my my hair done by a hairdresser - and that's the best thing you can do... i went there with no idea what to do (i just knew i wanted an updo), and my hairdresser helped me to choose one from a catalogue
