    hm n e 1 doing this board?
I've just been reading the edexcel threads and their predictiosn as to what may come up. I recon ours will be a little diff....
    from the past papers

there ALWAYS sum sort of calculation working molecular formular..or working out substance 'X" from infra red etc

transition metal complexes seem to be popular too

hm... n e 1 else got some insights??

There aren't really enough past papers to try and predict. I reckon there will be a question asking you to analyse a compound using the different techniques and something on complexes. There's always a question asking you to draw the section of a polymer.

The specimen paper is on the edexcel website but the others are only available if you buy them from the exam board. Your best bet is to get them from your college. The specimen paper is still quite useful.

isnt it to do with the mass/electric charge spectra which shows ion peaks of a molecule?
