websites often aren't the best way because they tend to get loads of people ringing up for the same job. Rather than if you just got a yellow pages for cafes/restuants and asked them if they have an vacancies.

wish these websites would ban the recruitment agencies writing *******s!

no your job clearly isn't a director role in marketing strategy, you offering a sales based salary that's barely above minimum wage, why not put 'knocking on doors flogging insurance' and be honest about it:mad:

it wouldn't be too bad if they stuck to their 'niche' and just listed these jobs under Sales and Marketing..but they put everything as a keyword, i'm sure if you searched for a job as a neuro-surgeon one of these ad's would crop up!

Does anyone have much experience of these websites which offer you jobs doing data entry from home?

    eg. http://www.freewebs.com/typingsuccess/index.htm and http://www.all4webs.com/g/k/kennerk/

I quite fancy doing it, but it all sounds a bit too good to be true, and there is the upfront fee, but for one of them it's only £15 and then you earn £20 - £25 an assignment!!

    opinions needed.

Hamlin Knight are pretty good. I managed to get some temp work for a bit doing data entry for the KS3 SATs (£7 an hour). Although it can be a bit tedious, it beats being at home in the day time being near-unproductive! I regret not having looked for a Summer job earlier

I've found a couple of jobs I'm interested in on the connexions website for my area and time consumingly filled in my CV but is there an actual 'apply' type button for each job (as I assumed there would be)? or do I have to contact connexions? or am I just being stupid?

    Many thanks! haha

You can either go to your local Connexions centre and they'll print the details for you, or I think you can register on the Connexions site and they'll post the contact details to you of the employers.

If you book and appointment with them and talk to a personal advisor about getting a job, they'll register you on their database, with types of work you want to do. You'll then get letters through the post from them with info. on jobs that have become available matching your type of job you want. I got a useful one this morning, i think i'll go and see them about it tomorrow! The connexions website also has a useful local vacancies section, go on google and search Connexions and then where your from(county), there are loads of up to date jobs on there for whatever area your from, very useful site!
this might be stupid question, do u know where to book an appoinment in connection website becuse i could not able to find any link related to book an appointment

    thanks in advance
