Edit: I've replaced a picture of Reese Witherspoon with Tyra Banks, as I realised Reese actually does have a strong jaw (as well as a pointy chin).

It's hard to say because it isn't the chin that makes the one's in the chin category hot. Reese Witherspoon is incredibly hot (I've met her in real life albeit on the other side of a barrier). It was just a coincidence though I don't actually go somewhere to try and meet her.
The first picture in the 'pointy chin' section is quite weird, her chin looks unnatural!

I think pointy chins give women a 'cute' and 'feminine' look but the most beautiful women seem to have strong jaws.

That's an interesting summery of the differences. I can't say I ever thought about it before, while I doubt anyone would kick any of these women out of bed, my concern is that it may become yet another part of the body for women to develop a complex over. I think Angelina Jolie is stunningly beautiful with her "strong jaw" but so is this Brazilian stunner with her pointy jaw one of the most beautiful women in the world:
