# EDEXCEL PHYSICS UNIT 6 &gt; HOW WAS IT? watch

1. How did you guys find the paper?...
2. your expression indicates you didnt think it was too wonderful... nor did i but it could have been worse.
3. Can ne1 share their answers so i can deduce how much i got?
4. could have been a lot worse...found a couple of questions really hard, but i think i picked up marks on every question - didn't leave any blank gaps.

got P4 and P6 tomorrow so can't stay!

5. overall i think it was a fair paper. nothing too demanding, nothing too easy. the passage was easy to understand. can you remember any numerical answers? i got 8 ^7 electron, after rounding, for one. post any answers you remember.

I got 15^6m/s
7. am i the only one who can barely remember the paper once i get out of the exam hall!!? i thought the weirdest/harderst question was the lead beads temperature thing. and the direction of current with the photoelectric effect. dont remember details tho! xxx
8. To get the energy of the lead shot i used mass*9.81*0.8 (ie GPE)

Is that what you were meant to do?

It was 1.36x10^7m/s using 440nm as the original and 20nm as the change
10. thats what i did! it confused me though because surely some of that is used in kinetic on its way back down? hmmm i dont know! anyway yeh i used the gpe too.

13. yep i multipled by 60. i did the same as you for the spectrum thing too! hopefully did well enough anyway. only one more important exam to go!

Thats what i did....

Overall.. Of course i feel it was a bad paper, but then its synoptic physics.. it was bound to be hard. But like others said.. it could have been A LOT worse.

I got 8^7 electrons as well.. wooo!

and i can never remember any answers to any questions unless someone reminds me of the answers.. in which case i either go.. : 'i got that' or 'doesn't ring a bell' but i would never be able to churn out what exactly i got..

19. temp change was 3.62K or degrees C didnt matter which 1 cos 1 degree C = 1 K but i put K cos the specific heat capacity had k in.
20. oh well i screwed that up, didn't realise we had to use W = FxD
