What is the source of centripetal force for the electrn in the bubble chamber?
I said it was the magnetic field strength pulling it or something

for teh recessional velocity i put that it was 1.36 exp 7 then crossed it out and did 420 -20 so used 400. and got 15 exp somoehting. but i def said towards the earth. on the whole i thought it was a gd phy6 paper.

for the two plates did u draw it so the hoels were lined up or so they werent lined up.
and what did people draw for the very last qu bout finding the work function

also, it was meant to be:

    1.5*25/(72K + 25)

    No?
    no..it was 47k ohms!

    so 1.5*25/47025 giving 7.98*10^-4

n yup i got 36.2k for the temp as well....3*10^7 for electrons
n erm wat there was some 1.44*10^7 for something in the first question?

wat were the questionsss..my mind blankin out
dont think it was that bad tho

o but i didnt kno how to measure that tiny current from the electrostatic mill..just made it up

n i put the holes as not overlapping at all

n the work function thing is in the book..i put the same circuit

I said it was the magnetic field strength pulling it or something
I said it is due to two electrons colliding with each other. I'm probably wrong

One was 47, the other 25

    so i did 25/72 times 1.5
    wrong as one was 47Kohms
    one was 27ohms

it said work out the velocity... velocity has direction..dont worry u'll only lose a mark if u never put the direction

nopes..when they were lined up the charge was zero..
i went about thinking about it in my head without realizing it was given in the text

it was a relief to see both theories matched up tho---my head n the text that is :p:
