I am currently looking for a summer job and have been searching the internet to see what luck it may bring, if any. I found a link on this forum (jobs4students) and found something in my area which interests me.

However I have never heard of the firm, Prime Time Recrutment which posts a lot of the jobs on there, I have googled it and they have a website but can't understand how they work

Has anyone ever had any experience with them?

Erm....do you know what a recruitment agency is?

*IF* you don't...then a Prime Time Recruitment will be a recruitment agency. "Normal" companies will pay these agencies to advertise jobs and find staff for them...it means that those companies don't have to do this all themselves and it may well save them money.

For lots of reasons, recruitment agencies tend not to say the name of the company that the jobs are for, so you'll get advertisements like "Office Junior needed in city centre location for a well-known marketing company" or something like that. Best thing to do is to apply for the job if it seems good, and then you'll get some information about it.

As long as you're not paying for anything, there's no harm in applying/asking for more information. If they ask you to hand over any money, then tell them where to go!
