LSE Rejection

Got rejected today from LSE-mathematics and economics ?I am pretty dissapointed...and really discouraged `cuz it`s also my first letter from ucas...my first application status...and when i saw in track "UNSUCCESFUL" i felt like ...my life was falling apart for a moment ... but well, life goes on even without LSE :smile:

OH, did I mention this was my DREAM uni?

CHEER UP! i'm applying to LSE too, but for law, and i havent heard yet! LSE is very very competitive, just know that a rejection doesnt mean that you're not good enough! every year they have to choose between hundreds of REALLY GOOD people (including you!) sooo dont let it hit you hard! hope your other applications will go well :yep:

I can't wait for my rejection letter from oxford.

I'll frame it up and hang it on my roof above my bed, so every morning when i wake up i can have a good laugh at myself.

I know it's hard not to, but don't dwell on it guys. Just focus on your A-level work and let UCAS handle itself. I'm sure most of you will get an offer from somewhere else and people generally end up liking wherever they go :smile:

. There are many institutions as good as LSE and LSE has a pretty strange admissions system so don't worry.

i cant understand y i got rejection as their offers are bbb,,, but my predicted grades are aaa,,, and i actually got 5As in AS!?!?!?!??!

It's not just about the grades as people keep saying; it's the personal statement, GCSEs, reference, even the secondary school you went to...
