What job can I get?

I have just left school and am looking for a summer job to get ome money. Can I do the following:

- Join temp agency,
-work on building site.

Any other iseas would be welcome

Building site work is brilliant, loads of fun mixing cement and climbing high scaffolding :smile:

I study physics and people wouldn't expect me to be able to lay a driveway :biggrin:

Building work requires a clever mind. I am currently helping my dad build our garden and it's flippin hard labour! Especially lawn-laying, fackin ell, does my ed roight in!!!

yeh i'm working at drayton manor in the gift shop, nice easy job.

i doubt youd be allowed to work in a proper building site, coz your under 18 still and its prob more work to get the health and safety checks for you too. yeh you can join a temp agency, but they may not be able to get you a lot of jobs, but then again it may work out, but go to kelly or pertemps. my aunty did that when still left school in 1984 went to the brand spanking new CPS, shes been there since she left school and has moved her way up and is now Head of Finance for CPS birmingham, but she had soo many temp jobs before she got to CPS, over the same summer too. so you gotta be willing to go from job to job.
