OK, Ive decided Im turning Veggie, so I was wonderin what I will have to do to keep getting the right amount of nutrients and stuff into my body.
ANy help asap would be nice as Ill go to Boots tomorrow and get anything I need before I go to school.

I don't take any supplements, but you might want to think about iron supplements, I think I should get some, in a blood test I had some time ago they said I was a little low on iron. that's all I can think of in terms of supplements really.

Okies, thankies. I shall buy some Iron tablets from Boots tomorrow. Thinking about it, maybe I should speak to the Pharmacist.

i dunno, i'm a vegetarian, and before you donate blood they always test to see if you have enough iron in your body, and they always comment on the fact that i have lots, or something. probably coz my mum makes me eat lots of cabbage. i don't take anything special, i don't think. just eat soya, tofu, they contain the essential amino acids. and eat lots of pulses too!

I take omega 3 oil supplements, where the oil is taken from some sort of seed ( might be flaxseed), instead of the oil from the liver of cod. Non veggies get these oils naturally from eating oily fish. If you eat enough grains and pulses then you should be fine without supplements though. Green leafy foods have loads of iron in, especially spinage. Its so nice raw!

i take multivitamin and iron tablets + calcium tabs. if you're are really fussy make sure they are veggie supplements coz some have gelatine in the coatings or some random animally vitamin.

yay! honey, that's awesome! can just reiterate what others have said... a good multivitamin and flaxseed oil. and remember to check that they don't contain gelatine. the most important thing tho is to eat a balanced diet. check out www.vegsoc.org for tips on getting started, loads of info on there.
feel free to pm if u have any questions - i have been a veggie all my life. good luck!

You can be veggie without any supplements but its a good idea to start with, or start by going partially veggie keep up fish or something until you've got the balance of your diet right its trial and error really, thats what I did then phased out fish last.
The peta vegetarian starter pack is a pretty good read.
