Understanding eye test results

I have just had an eye test (because my new employer wants one) and had to get a form filled in listing all the values.

For all of the values, I got 6/5.
I understand that 6/6 is perfect vision (or 20/20 if you are american because they use feet instead of meters), but what does 6/5 mean ?

I know I dont need glasses, but would be interested in knowing what 6/5 is and how it relates to vision - ie, the 5 is below 6 so surely it means one of my eyes is slightly short sighted ?????

Anyone ?

6/5 is considered 'normal' vision - don't worry about it

Unless I have lost the plot (quite possible), from looking at that site above, 6/5 is BETTER than 6/6 ? How can that be ? Or, the most likely option is that I have misunderstood

6/5 is better than 6/6.

6/60 is the worst you can have - i.e - you can only make out the top letter from 6 metres.
