It depends what yóu are doing for it. Its not a bad start for a part time or summer job
Reply 2
depends whereabouts you are as well. up north, in towns etc, £6 p/h would be fantastic, whereas in large cities/london, it's probably about average.

It's not bad. In Essex, it works out about:

£4.50 = McDonalds Worker
£5.55 = Tesco Shelf-stacker
£5.80 = Tesco Skilled-Baker
£6.00 = Tesco Team Leader
£8.00 = Customer Call Centre

Reply 7
it's an extra 1.50 over the minimum wage so take it.
Reply 8
for doing what? it depends, if a shop/bar etc. offered you that it's good, if my work said that was to be my wage i'd run 1000 miles!!!

Very good
For holiday/sat work its brilliant, as most shops only pay between £4-£5, my first job at 16 paid £3.57.
Thats brilliant I'd be over the moon if I got offered that wage

Marks and Spencer pays its under 18's £4.60 per hour (on completion of training period), and time and a half on Sunday's which equates to £6.90 per hour! Not too bad. Over 18's get £4.94 (not a tremendous difference to be honest). Staff discount is alrite though, 20% off everything.
