I've never seen the point in clear mascara.

Is clear mascara relatively easy to get hold of? Even my waterproof mascara seems to run

Just buy a waterproof, they work just as well

Most lines will have a waterproof mascara. What mascara are you using currently? It should be said that if your in the water loads then the clear mascara will just wash off.

If you want to lengthen, darken or add volume to your lashes you need a waterproof macsara. All a clear mascara will do is separate them, and it will wash off in the water.

If waterproof mascara hasn't worked for you in the past then either buy a better brand or get an eyelash tint. They're only about £10 and last for a month or 2.

An eyelash tint might be a good idea. My friend always gets one when we go on drama courses as mascara is just impractical then

You might wanna try 30 day mascara! It's about £5, and you can get it from Asda but I imagine loads of places will do it. It's like a semi-permanent dye; you put it on, then wash it off 5 mins later! And one box does about 12 applications!

Or I've tried Avon's clear mascara, and on it's own it isn't too good, but on top of the 30 day mascara it's ok!

I used the 30 day mascara that Juno mentioned and I was really happy with the result, but I paid about £8 for it in Boots. It allowed me to go makeup-free over Glastonbury without feeling self-conscious, so I'd highly recommend it!
I wear clear mascara, because the others make my eye lashes look so fake, but the clear ones seperate each strand and make them stick up, and they look natural.
