I'm not sure. Recently, I've been sneezing really badly, too - but it's not a cold as I've had no other symptoms. Instead, my eyes have been really itchy and blood-shot, and my nose would not stop itching. I've never had hay fever before, but my sister and Mum suffer from it, so I'm now taking some of her hay fever tablets and eye drops and that seems to be helping.

It may a cold in your case - stress can make you more susceptible to illness - or maybe you've developed hay fever, too.

I don't really understand allergies but I think most people have a mild form of hayfever - as in, when there's a really high pollen count like there has been recently, lots of people will be sneezing who don't seriously suffer from it generally.

You can definitely develop allergies though, so keep an eye on it. As long as it doesn't get worse you'll be fine .

I have the worst hayfever. Even now i'm surrounded by snotty tissues, haha. If your really concerned about it you can always get it tested, i went to the Royal Ears Nose and Throat hospital in London and they did a test where they put blobs of different substances from each thing you might be allergic to (types of pollen, dust mites, etc), on your arm and did a small pin prick in each. Within about 20 minutes the things you're most allergic to come up as a red lump - the bigger it is the more allergic you are. I found out i was very allergic to tree pollen, grass pollen and feathers! I'd had a feather duvet all along as well, which had to go!

I agree, those allergy tests are a good idea, I'm having one soon. Someone I know had one recently and found out he was allergic to oranges..and he had no idea!

Oranges?!? Never heard of that one before. Apparently this year is the worst year ever for hayfever, i reckon it's something to do with pollution as well and global warming. God bless kleenex is all i say!

I don't know whether i'm suffering from hay fever or have a cold. I've got a sore throat, runny nose and a cough/sneezes.

I've never suffered from hay fever before and i didn't think you could get a cold in the summer so i don't know what it is! :frown:

I don't know if i have a cold or hayfever. I take hayfever tablets so i don't sneeze/itchy eyes. Yet i have a constant blocked/runny nose for the past 3 and a half weeks, which is really getting to me! I don't know which it is.
