does oxford inform you first if you got an offer or rejection and then inform ucas? or is it the other way round?

what would you say is the average length time after the interviews are completed?

Last year my daughter got a rejection from one college on Christmas Eve and an acceptance from another on 28th December. The acceptance letter was actually dated before the rejection but must have got delayed in the Christmas post. You are informed directly by your college and then have to let them know you are accepting it. Only then, I think does it go to UCAS.

You don't get the UCAS one until late January - so no point checking the tracker every five minutes during December!

I didn't get a UCAS letter until I had confirmed I would accept Oxford as my first choice. Pembroke sent me a letter saying I had to agree to put Oxford as my firm choice - otherwise they would offer my place to someone else

Only after I had signed this and sent it back did I recieve an offer through UCAS - I can't remember the exact dates but will dig them out for anyone who is interested.
