Thyroxine tablets don't seem to work

I don't seem I've lost weight on thyroxine tablets....why is that...I've heared that there should be an extream weight loss :mad:

3 months ,it's about to get empty,only something like 6 tablets left,though some tablets fell down once or twice ,so they are not a totaly but I guess been taking them since th 7th of april

I don't know much about the tablet, but maybe it takes longer for them to react, or maybe your body isn't reacting to them. Go and see your GP and ask their advice.

they might not be a strong enough dose, but its much more likely it will take time to really hit - especially if your throxine deficiency wasn't that bad to start with.

well it was low as in the blood test results,the second time after a month or so my doc told me that the test results were pleasent,but I didn't loseweight :confused:
