Film Studies AS level ?

I returned to my sixth form for a third year to get an extra a-level, I was forced to take up an AS to fill up my timetable, already having an a-level in media, I chose Film Studies.

The coursework is basically analyzing the micro elements of a short scene/sequence in any american/british film.

Any ideas on what would be a useful clip that has lots to analyze?

I analysed a sequence from No Country For Old Men, one of the earlier ones in the wilderness. I ended up getting an A in my coursework.

That film is odd, as it has one incredible scene within a pretty rubbish movie.

Oh please choose something more interesting than The Dark Knight. Why would you possibly want to analyze that crap? Very little to talk about.

Are you analyzing the aesthetics of the film or the theory behind it? What on Earth do you mean by micro elements?
I'm doing that now; I have to say the whole course was really a let down tbh

I planned on dong a Tim Burton movie, as there is so much in it. Before I dropped out that is :P
