A hotel near me needs new chamber maids (room cleaning and stuff) and I'm going to ring up and ask about it but I'm worried they'll ask me why I want to be a chamber maid at a hotel and I can't think what to say
The way I see it I could be honest and say for the money, because it's convenient to get to etc or I could ramble on about how great the hotel and chamber maiding in general is but I'm not sure which would be best or what exactly I should say.
Please help me
I would offer rep but mines not worth anything and yes it is possible I'm overthinking this a bit

i went to a hotel to apply for (and got) a job for assisting banqueting, conferences and events lol. although i think they did ask me "so why this job?", i didn't talk about the actual job, i just said that i wanted to do something this summer, it had to be challenging, i wanted to get some money before going to uni, i enjoy working in a team etc, but i didn't say a word about laying tables or anything.
i'm sure u can talk about it in a general way (if they even ask you the question). all you need to show is enthusiasm for working more for the company and as part of a team rather than say chaning pillow cases, and you'll be fine.
