ok, here's the update: one of my references have been completed- Chemistry. The good part is the reference from my teacher which is very positive. But I am predicted a B grade for the A2, which has really pissed me off  . Considering he said lots of very positive stuff to my form tutor, gave me an A prediction for my AS in my report and I think I'm his most favourite student as I got the certificate for this subject.

So why predict me A2 with grade B when he predicted me AS A grade in my report??

If I do get an A grade in my AS result in august (hope to God I will ), would it be possible to change the predicted grade on the reference?
(Isn't it common to get predicted the same grade you get for AS?)

By the way, the reason my reference was written before my results is because I am considering applying for medicine.

    cheers
Yes, your tutor could change the predicted grade when you get your AS results in August. It's lucky that your teacher can write references before results day. For our teachers, they write it after results day, and when you completed the application form and personal statement.

I'm applying for medicine by the way, so thats why mine is being done early. On the reference sheet it says 'A2 prediction: B' (roughly) and it has the teacher's reference below, therefore will my form tutor copy all the teacher references onto one whole reference?

So are you saying my form tutor can change the predicted A2 grade without informing the teacher him self. (From what he/she sees from the actual result)

Since you are still at school, tell him to change the predicted grade when you get your AS results, as you might get a grade A in Chemistry.

Yes, your tutor will copy all your subject references onto one whole reference. In my school the head of sixth form combines all the subject references into one whole reference.

Your tutor or you would need to inform your chemistry teacher about changing the predicted grade.

OK thankyou! Theres so many things on my mind! I'm afraid if the form tutor does not copy it right, I don't think I was meant to see my teacher reference, as my friends have said, but I found it in my personal folder (Oh well). Therefore I'm afraid if my other teacher references as they might of predicted me a lower grade. Do you think they should tell me my predicted grades? I really should be asking my teachers this! :p:

You head of sixth form does all the reference??!!! That's quite a lot of references
