definately, so long as she avoids the infinite horrors of 1/x
11. x=1

why is 1/x infinitely horrible?

definately, so long as she avoids the infinite horrors of 1/x
LOL

I am just preparing a math lesson for today. It only includes stuff like this though:

32 x (4500-3333) + (4x57876+786)=

LOL
Awww, bless my little kiddo student for today. He has an exam tomorrow and I bet he is well scared.

He is 11 and he is yr 6, so no calculator exam, of course.
This is all mental maths, more or less and easy, too.

He can handle it, surely!

well, of course you can write it down and do it. Old school. Guess once you get to use a calulator, you don't do it anymore. I had to start doing it again at uni during my math didactics and arithmetic lectures and seminars.
It's like.... OUTCH .... I want my calculator
17. So what are you up to then?
18. (Original post by saiyamana)
because when x=0....
its undefined boo hoo.

lol ya!

i have a mental question for ya actually, i was playing cards yesterday and thought of this one...

1. Take the value, 13! * 4 = 2.49*10^10

2. Times this by the probability of choosing a Club out of a full deck

3. Times by the probability of choosing a red.

4. Times by the probability of choosing any '3'.

5. Divide the number by 100

6. take off 2395000 from this answer

7. What is the final integar you are left with?
20. 8, its a shame about the random '-2395000'

(13!*4)*(13/52)*(26/52)*(4/52)*(1/100)-2395000
