What are your thoughts? Have you ever been to see a band, or seen a recorded live performance and been disappointed?

For me it would be 'Evanescence', their recordings are really well mixed but the vocals are horrendous live!

Muse, however, are excellent.

I approve.

I saw them at V festival the summer before last and they were AMAZING!

Bring on 10th Septemeber '10!

I supported enter shikari once in my band - they are very impressive live!

Funeral for a Friend. They really just don't give a ****. They sound alright, but then finish half an hour before curfew, with no encore, and play way too much of their post-Hours stuff.

I thought they were really good at reading this year

I really didnt enjoy Foals when they supported Bloc Party
It just sounded awful

MSTRKRFT were a bit dissapointing too
That might be because it was at a festival instead of a club though

I thought they were excellent live. However I also thought Drangonforce were too, and they seem to get a lot of stick. I think being at the front for them makes a difference.

Though I love them, I have to say Bullet For My Valentine seem to have a lot of technical sound issues, making them not as good as they could be live.

RHCP at derby. worst band i've ever seen live, closely followed by Angels and Airwaves (support for Foo Fighters - I wouldnt pay to see them!

Amy Lee used to be TERRIBLE live! I saw on TOTP once and it was cringworthy, she has since got a bit better though. She's at least in tune!

Girl's Aloud are terrible, but then again I wouldn't really consider them a real band, lol.

The Fratellis were absolutely awful when I had the misfortune of having to work one of their gigs. The lead vocalist can't sing for ****.

The Big Pink were dreadful also. It was so mind-numbingly boring, standing there while they droned on.

Saw Big Pink support Muse as well? Yeah, pretty awful, everybody seemed to love one song but I just hated their whole set.

Didn't see the Prodigy, was watching Slipknot, who were totally awesome of course. Def Leppard also bored the tits off of me.

I saw muse at the O2 a few weeks back and was very disappointed. Far better on recording in my opinion.

Really? I saw them at the SECC in Glasgow and thought they were amazing (I was up the front, right against the barrier though. :p:

). One of the best live bands I've seen in my opinion.

Rammstein on the other hand...well I haven't seen them live, but I've heard recordings of their Berlin show and WOW they are amaaazing!

and is sooooooo can't wait to see them in Feb.

Fratellis are awful live. I was a fan before I sae them a Reading '08 but they just weren't very inspiring, couldn't get the crowd going at all. It was very weird.

As said before, KOL weren't too great this year at Reading which is a shame because they were amazing in '07 before they sold out.

The contrast between The Big Pink and Muse at the NIA was actually unbelivable...

thankfully im seeing muse again in sept 2010, hopefully better support.
