Worst band ive seen live has to be Fightstar or Coheed and Cambria. Too much bass not enough vocals.

I will end you. I've seen them live about 7 (?) times, amazing performances all around. If there was too much bass and not enough vocals, that wasn't their fault!

In addition, I thought Dragonforce were great when when I saw them live.

Reply 121

i quite liked dragonforce too  entertaining anyway

One Night Only- couldn't understand what they devil they were singing about

The Big Pink. Absolutely shocking.

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Everyone hyped them as being really amazing live and then.... they fell so flat. And the ticket was £45 as well. Sometimes I forget I've even seen them because they were that boring. And I used to really like them too.

Taking Back Sunday.. as of late - I'm sure they were good when I was 16!!
& The Fray .. most boring set I've ever endured, even though the songs are quite good!

oh & Paramore twice back when they were starting out - nothing v. special :frown:

Testament Dx

Oh and Job for a Cowboy but they just generally suck... I saw them when they supported Megadeth and clearly the entire crowd was less that amused at Megadeth's choice of support. When JFAC said 'We've got time for one more song' there was a collective groan across the crowd =P

Really Paramore? I thought their live shows were a lot more intense back then, they were really into them. Nowadays it's more like 'play-songs-and-act-like-we-still-connect-with-our-fans'. I'm going to see them on the 10th, we'll see how that pans out.

The first time I saw them (Give it a name introduces tour or something like that) they were more intense & I quite enjoyed their set but the second (not long later) they just didn't do it for me - can't really pinpoint why :frown:

Radiohead, but I am a bit of a fear weather fan? If I was a big Radiohead fan and saw myself I'd be pissed off.

You sir, have excellent taste.

I've watched a lot of their live performances on Youtube. Orgasmic stuff :yep:

Agree. Matt Bellamy. I would turn for him if I wasn't already a straight female.

Touché, good sir.

Worst part of the night though was the fact that, after having the Fratellis aurally rape us all, the DJ for the clubnight afterwards decided to play Chelsea Dagger later in the night. Had to hear that **** twice in one night!!

Aural rape. I'm so using that in my next review. You, sir, deserve a rep. Nudge me at midnight for one, I'm fresh out atm :frown:

Agree. I believe the singer is eye-candy, not ear-candy.

Probably going to upset a lot of people here, but Red Hot Chili Peppers. Saw them at Reading a couple of years ago and they were just boring.

Also Vampire Weekend.

And a fair few emo bands I saw back in the day, but I won't embarrass myself by mentioning them...

MCR by any chance? Haha..

Reply 133

I've heard that the 'Suckers' are meant to suck live.

Reply 134

Probably either Testament or Dragonforce.

They were both so unbelievably **** live...

What are your thoughts? Have you ever been to see a band, or seen a recorded live performance and been disappointed?

For me it would be 'Evanescence', their recordings are really well mixed but the vocals are horrendous live!

Muse, however, are excellent.

Muse are indeed a beast live (in a good way )

Although, I wouldn't encourage epileptics to go. I nearly had an episode and I'm not even epileptic!

Reply 136

Disturbed were pretty awful, but that was at a festival, so they've got an excuse. Motley Crue werent great, but thats mainly because the audience was middle aged people who only wanted to listen, not actually move at all.

Iron Maiden on the other hand owned at that festival!

snow patrol aint that good live.

muse and enter shikari are, on the other hand, awesome.

Disagree; Snow Patrol= best thing ever live and on CD. They're so deep, so emotional so...Irish.

Muse and Shikari are brilliant also. Shikari the 3rd and 4th time aren't as good :/
