Difficult Housemates

I am living in a house where two of the housemates are being extremely difficult and not talking to the rest of us. They demanded to another housemate that he clean the toilet and the kitchen and then began shouting at another. When I stood up for them they began ignoring me too. Even after we all cleaned the house twice, which they didnt help with, they still refuse to talk and ignore us, making it awkward. We've tried talking to them and sorting things out but they tell us its our fault and we've treated them badly. Does anyone have any ideas how to reason with them or sort it out?

No, we've always usually got along, but they tend to keep to themselves and have always been a bit argumentative

Oh right, because no matter how trivial arguments before may seem it always seem to upset others. Its quite strange they are just like this! Just try finding out why they think its all your guys fault. Try and ask them why they feel like that.

Sounds like it's been bottled up then, and suddenly people have lost it making it seem like it's come from nowhere.

er...surely if they live there they should chip in with the cleaning? Make a rota someone clean the toilet, someone hoover the hall and stairs, someone do the shower and someone do the kitchen. Then it's all fair.

We've got a rota, which they made up, but they say that we should clean up because we make the mess becuase they go home at the weekend even though they left it a mess after they had a party which they wanted us to clean up after. They just cant be reasoned with.

Just dont clean up, leave it and if they have a go say its THEIR mess! Is there a landlord you guys can complain to? Maybe if enough of you complain they might be able to do something about it?
