Taylor Series

Hi, i was wondering what you have to do for the following?

1. Find the taylor series at x=0 of the following functions:

a) cos(3x)
b) cos^2 (x)
c) 1/(5-3x)
d) 3/((1-x)^3)

Do you know the Taylor series for cosx? If you know it you can do the first two reasonably easily.

are these correct:

a) 1 -4.5(x^2) -3.375(x^4)

b) 1 - x^2 + (x^4)/3

c) 1/5 + 3x/25 + (18(x^2))/250 + (162(x^3))/ 3750

d) 3 + 4.5x + 6(x^2) + 15(x^3)

A Maclaurin series is not finite. For a) I think you have a sign error as well. Haven't looked at b) properly, but you're not supposed to have a finite series unless the question specifically asks you to.
